Why settlement support belongs at a law practice
Every week my clients ask the same questions that aren’t legal questions: Who can file my first Canadian tax return? How do I build credit history? Where do I start on housing, schools, or getting my credentials recognized?
Rather than leave you to search alone, I maintain relationships with professionals I trust, accountants, financial advisors, and other specialists who work with newcomers regularly and understand the immigration context behind your questions.
Introductions are free, and there are no referral fees in either direction, you engage each professional directly, on their terms. My only interest is that you’re in good hands. Profiles of network members appear below as the network grows.

Settlement network questions
No. Introductions are free, and no referral fees flow in either direction. You engage each professional directly and pay only their normal fees, agreed with them.
No, they are independent professionals with their own practices, licences and obligations. My relationship with them is one of trust built through shared clients, not ownership or commission.
Yes, with your consent. Immigration decisions and financial decisions interact, timing a move, selling property, or starting a business all look different when both advisors see the whole picture.
Not at all, the network exists for clients who don’t. If your own accountant or advisor needs an immigration-aware counterpart, I’m happy to work alongside them.
